The Department of Housing and Works has engaged Solution Minds and GCM Management Consulting to develop a business driven strategic information plan that supports the Department’s physical assets business.

The development of the information plan involves multiple workshops with internal and external stakeholders including: ­

• Government Owner Agencies (Department of Health, Education, and the Attorney General); ­
  
• Central State Government Agencies (Department of Treasury and Finance, Office of Strategic Projects, Centre for Excellence and Innovation in Infrastructure Delivery); and ­
• Central Commonwealth Government Agencies (Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs). 

The Department of Housing and Works represents all of the Western Australian State Government’s housing and works functions. The Department covers public and community housing, Aboriginal and regional housing, Keystart home loans, property sales, major government projects, capital works projects, and property and facilities maintenance and services.
